Who Is On Chord Academy?

  • Since 2013, On Chord Academy has been transforming musical dreams into reality with our comprehensive music education services, band programs, music lecture series, and one-of-a-kind certificate program.

  • On Chord Academy students receive one-on-one private lessons tailored to their musical interests and pace. Our students learn the genres and techniques they're most interested with tailored material from their private instructor.

  • Our teachers have music degrees, professional certificates, and performance education from schools like the University of Utah and Berklee College of Music. Our teachers are active performing, recording and touring musicians. Most of our teachers have taught for over 12 years at On Chord Academy, and collectively have 80+ years of teaching experience.

  • Our music education goes beyond lessons and practice. We provide our students with opportunities to regularly perform for friends and family at our live music venue, as a member of one of our student bands; onstage at our annual outdoor music festival, and even atop parade floats.

  • On Chord Academy offers our students an amazing opportunity to join one of our student bands. Our bands practice together weekly under the guidance of our band instructor. Our bands play live several times each year and gain real world performance experience.
